Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s praise for Tijjani Reijnders

Zlatan Ibrahimovic praised AC Milan player, Tijjani Reijnders. According to him, the player of Indonesian descent has developed rapidly with the Rossoneri.
Reijnders was brought in by Milan from AZ Alkmaar in 2023. The Dutch national team midfielder immediately became an important pillar of Il Diavolo Rosso.

Reijnders has played 64 matches with AC Milan in all competitions. He has contributed 8 goals and 7 assists.

Tijjani Reijnders’ impressive performance at AC Milan has received praise from club legend, Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Ibracadabra believes that the player can continue the impressive achievements of the Dutch legends at San Siro.

“Regarding Reijnders, I think he is the player who has developed the most in a short time. He came from the Netherlands, from the hard work he did at AZ, and he did an extraordinary job,” said Ibrahimovic, quoted from Calciomercato.

“He has been an important player for the team, the club and the national team, proving that he is a top player. I am very satisfied with him, and he is very important for us.”

On the one hand, Ibrahimovic emphasized Reijnders to be able to win prestigious trophies for AC Milan like his seniors such as Ruud Gullit. For him, top performance without being able to present achievements means nothing at Rossoneri.

“If we look back, there was a historic trio with Marco van Basten, Frank Rijkaard and Ruud Gullit, who are icons and symbols of the club. Dutch players have a good CV at the club, and Reijnders felt a little pressure because he was Dutch and had to prove his ability,” Ibrahimovic said.

“However, he did a great job. We are very satisfied with him, and he must continue like this. Even so, like every Milan player, he will be remembered for what he won. If you don’t win, you won’t be remembered,” concluded Zlatan.
